Terms & Rules 📜
Please read and thoroughly understand these terms before using our Steam Sharing system to ensure mutual comfort for all Infinity PlayPass members:
1. One Device Limit
Each single license or active membership is strictly limited to run on only **1 device**.
2. Offline Mode Mandatory
All shared library games must be played completely in **Offline Mode** to prevent session collisions.
3. Switch Accounts Safely
Do not sign out or Log Out from the client when switching accounts. Open Steam and use the **Change Account** option.
4. Offline Mode on Idle
Make high efforts to transition Steam into Offline mode if the client launcher is idle or not actively downloading.
5. Do Not Click "Request Access"
Never click the **Request Access** button in your Steam library. Doing so spams the administrator with excessive notifications.
6. Full Support Policy
We provide full support until your membership expires, provided the buyer acts reasonably and Valve doesn't discard Steam Family policies.
Windows 11 💻
Please change your computer/PC name before authenticating with the Infinity PlayPass server to be properly recognized in our database:
Click the Windows **Search** bar, type in **Settings**, and search/open the application.
In the Settings UI, open the **System** tab, scroll to the absolute bottom, and click **About**.
Click the **Rename this PC** button.
Change it to a unique nickname / handle of your choice (do not use generic machine models; write an easily identifiable nickname).
Send the unique gaming nickname you used directly to the official administrator.
Perform a **Restart** on your system to apply the new hostname sequence.
Important Note: Ensure your computer name matches the registered nickname exactly. If names are not aligned, your environment may face automatic disconnections.
SteamOS / Bazzite 🎮
If you use a Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Legion Go, or other gaming handheld based on SteamOS / Bazzite Linux, follow these steps to rename your device:
Open the Steam Application
If you are currently signed into an active game account, log out or select Change Account first.
Method: Open Steam ➜ Click your profile avatar at the top right ➜ scroll down and select **Change Account**.
On the primary boot launcher login screen, move your navigation towards the bottom-left corner.
Modify Hostname
Go to **Menu ➜ About ➜ Choose Hostname**.
Input your unique gaming nickname (please refrain from using stock device/brand descriptions, construct your own name).
Please report this updated hostname directly to the administrator.
**Restart** your handheld console to fully commit the system changes.
Important Note: Ensure your handheld hardware name matches the registered nickname exactly. If names are out of sync with the database, automatic disconnections may apply.
Using QR Code 📱
Sign into the shared Steam account swiftly and safely without typing physical passwords:
The QR Code method is the absolute best way to log in as it completely blocks account restriction triggers and maintains zero-input logins.
Step 1: Once your computer restarts correctly.
Step 2: Launch your local Steam Client.
Step 3: A secure visual QR code template will show up on your login screen.
Step 4: Take a clear captures/photo and send it immediately to our WA administrator.
Using Backup Code 🔑
If QR code structures fail or our administrators are offline temporarily, navigate using traditional credentials plus Backup Code entries:
Step 1: Fill in the Steam Username and Password combinations according to details sent to you.
Step 2: When the system prompts for Steam Guard 2-Factor logs, click enter a code instead at the bottom.
Step 3: At 'Enter the code from your Steam Mobile App', click on the use backup code reference at the bottom.
Step 4: Fill in the 7-character single-use license backup code offered by our administrator.
Steam Sharing Method 🚀
After reaching the Steam account on your device, absolutely maintain these game logs to secure your local offline save database:
⚙️ Disable Cloud & Remote Play Features (Perform Once at First Boot)
Navigate to **Settings ➜ Cloud** ➜ Fully **Disable/Toggle Off Enable Steam Cloud** (this allows your game data to remain localized to your separate physical drive limits).
Also, inside the **Settings** menu ➜ Select **Remote Play** ➜ **Disable/Turn off Enable Remote Play** options.
Download and install the game until progress hits 100%. Never run the game while initially online.
PC/Windows User: Click **Steam** in the absolute top-left corner ➜ Click **Go Offline...**.
SteamOS / Handheld Console: Press the hardware **Steam** button ➜ **Settings ➜ Internet ➜ Enter Offline Mode**.
Your games are complete and fully optimized to execute offline safely. Concurrent online actions or downloads are not allowed while actively in offline mode.
How to Play on GeForce NOW ☁️
🎒 Prerequisites Setup
Ensure you possess an active GFN membership.
Prepare a clean/secondary dummy Steam account to login first.
🚀 Access GeForce NOW
Select the target game you want to play (e.g., Black Myth: Wukong).
For Game Store, select Steam ➜ Mark as Owned ➜ Now Play ➜ Yes Continue.
Click the green Play button.
👤 Login with Dummy Account
Sign into your empty/dummy personal Steam account.
Ensure you do NOT check the "Remember Me" box on this dummy account!
Once logged in, click the **Steam** menu at the top-left ➜ Select **Change Account**.
Now, log into the purchased **Infinity PlayPass Steam Sharing** account.
Be sure to **check the "Remember Me" box** for the Infinity PlayPass Steam Sharing account!
⚙️ GFN Steam Platform Settings
Once inside, click **Enter Big Picture Mode** (the monitor icon near the Minimize button at top-right).
Open the **Steam Menu** (bottom-left) ➜ Click **Cloud** ➜ Disable **Enable Steam Cloud**.
(essential to preserve your save logs safe locally)
Still in GFN **Steam Menu** ➜ Click **Remote Play** ➜ Turn off **Enable Remote Play**.
Still in GFN **Steam Menu** ➜ Choose **Internet** ➜ Select **Enter Offline Mode**.
🔄 Future Sessions Gameplay Guide
When launching GFN, quickly click the **Big Picture** icon to force Big Picture Mode triggers.
Under Big Picture Mode, go to **Library ➜ Select your Game's card**.
The game will start loading. Before it enters gameplay, swiftly spam click the **Back** action in the bottom-right container.
Go to **Steam Menu** ➜ Select **Internet ➜ Enter Offline Mode**.
Game DRM Denuvo 🛡️
For premium games featuring Denuvo Anti-Tamper security, you must perform these setup sequences to authorize your local hardware licenses:
Connect your internet and allow Steam to run temporarily in **Online Mode**.
Click the green **Play** button in your Library to launch the game online for the first time.
Allow the game intro screen and animations to load fully until you reach the **Main Menu / Start Screen**.
Exit/Close the Game
Having visited the key menu screens, hardware activation has completed. Now, select **Exit Game / Quit** safely.
Return to your Steam client dashboard, and quickly trigger Steam back to **Go Offline...**. The game is now set for offline sessions.
The active list of Denuvo-integrated titles can be checked directly in your game files index.
If Frequently Logged Out ⚠️
If your session suddenly logs out or ends automatically, follow this clearing routine to restore access:
Open Task Manager
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc on your Windows system keyboard.
Force-Close All Steam Processes
Find **Steam** in the process list, right-click, and select **End Task** on all occurrences of Steam apps.
Wait for 1 Minute
Allow at least 60 seconds for all background steam components and local caches to close down completely.
Launch Steam Client Again
Relaunch the Steam app normally and proceed securely to your gaming session.
Important: Maintain Offline Mode!
Do not forget to always transition Steam into **Offline mode** when the launcher is idle or not in use, unless you are actively installing/updating games.
🛡️ Steam Hardware & Session Limits
Steam enforces concurrent session checks to maintain database security. If limits are exceeded, devices may face auto-disconnections:
Simultaneous concurrent idle logins threshold
Maximum concurrent game installation processes
If Game Button Shows 'Purchase' 🛒
If the active "Play" action button suddenly displays "Purchase", perform this troubleshooting check:
Enter Offline Mode
Toggle your Steam client into **Go Offline** status first.
Exit and Restart Steam
Shut down the client fully (Select Exit Steam) or restart your Steam application launcher.
Launch Steam Client
Relaunch the Steam app normally.
Critical Tip for Playtime
It is absolutely vital to verify that your Steam client is locked into **Offline Mode** before clicking Play.
